Diversity Fellow August 2018 - Present

Rare and Manuscripts Collection Division

Cornell University Library

  • Processes archival collections for the Human Sexuality Collection to make primary sources on human sexuality available and accessible to researchers and the public.

  • Works on improving Cornell University Library’s commitment diversity, inclusion, and belonging (DIB) both within the library system as a whole and the Rare and Manuscripts Collection division through service on several task forces and committees.

  • Preserves born-digital materials for future research and access through digital forensics and capture.

  • Catalogs visual resources for the Human Sexuality Collection, such as those of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF), to improve description and access for researchers.

  • Assists researchers with their work at the Rare and Manuscripts Collection reference desk and answers questions from the general public.

  • Created new metadata rules specific to the Rare and Manuscripts Collection division to improve the cataloging process.
